〇 Specialist - HE&R Japan will work closely with the in-country and Regional HE&R Leadership along with in-country business teams to develop reimbursement strategies for upcoming Abbott Medical Devices, that would not automatically fit into the existing reimbursement list
〇 The role collaborates cross functionally with allied functions such as Regulatory, Clinical and Government Affairs in locally executing these reimbursement strategies
〇 The role also provides expertise from a health economics perspective to mitigate negative policy developments, such as price revisions, inappropriate HTA etc. and form a proactive approach to leverage policy opportunities.
〇 Preparation and submission of reimbursement applications to MHLW and be involved in the end-to-end process to establish favourable and appropriate reimbursement
〇 Work with the HE&R Leadership and the local commercial team to agree on priorities, develop and implement market access strategies for new and existing products.
〇 Engage with internal stakeholders including local commercial and functional teams, by facilitating communication and collaboration, forming project task forces.
〇 Provide reimbursement support to the business including sales, finance and marketing to achieve commercial goals and objectives.
〇 Actively participate at relevant scientific conferences/workshops and professional continuing education meetings.
〇 Prepare timely reports for the HE&R organisation and the local Business leadership as the case maybe
〇 Provide support to the Manager and execute any other activities as assigned from time to time.
|応募資格||【Education and skill】
〇 Bachelor’s degree preferably in Medical, pharmaceutical, biological and scientific related.
〇 Master’s or Doctor’s degree is desired.
〇 Business level of English skill for both conversation and documentation are required.
〇 Competence in MS Office applications.
【Background Experiences and personality】
〇 At least 5 years’ experience in Health Economics & Reimbursement, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical/Medical Science or R&D in Medical Devices, Pharma, Market Access Consulting, University or Government.
〇 Possess strong writing skills and prior experience of medical writing or preparation of reimbursement or regulatory dossier
〇 Possess analytical skills and the ability to work with complex product information, clinical literature, health economics data, to develop value messaging and supporting reimbursement strategy
〇 Strong commercial awareness and business acumen with prior knowledge of the medical devices, healthcare, cardiovascular and neuromodulation areas
〇 Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with business level proficiency in English
〇 Strong project management and leadership skills, and a collaborative mindset with the ability to work across a matrix organization with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders.
〇 High integrity and work ethics, in line with Abbott values.
〇 Traveling: Extensive domestic and with some international travel (2-3 times per year)
